Ben Turns Two!

I'll just start by saying that I have the cutest 2 year old. Ben's birthday was Saturday and oh did we celebrate. He started talking about it all day the day before, modestly telling every single person he saw that it was his birthday tomorrow. And then he would wait for them to sing the happy birthday song. So of course, we sang it at every request all day and even more today. We had a halloween costume party for him and figured the final tally of people in our home was 38. I had planned to have it in the backyard but as luck would have it, it rained all day so we had to move it inside. It turned out great and the kids had a lot of fun decorating trick-or-treat bags, making halloween masks, breaking the pinata and most of all showing off their adorable costumes.

Toby and Ben were Nascar drivers. They've actually been living in these costumes for the last few weeks. I've had to sew a few holes up already. Ben was really into the party and loved playing with his friends. It was harder on Toby who wanted everything to go his way. We had a few melt-downs, but overall we had a great party for Ben. "Happy birday to me!" as he said. We love him so much and can't believe it's been two years already.

My friend Anne made this whole costume for her little Jack. Is that not the cutest Nacho Libre you've ever seen?

Happy Birthday Ben. Your Birthday song is coming soon. We remembered on Saturday but never quite got it together. Those pictures are great. Ben IS the cutest (besides my boys):)
And that Nacho Libre costume is THE BEST!! I laughed so hard.
