Girl On a Mission

No, not that churchy kind-a much more worldly one. And yes, this is the 3rd day in a row that I've posted something. I don't know what's gotten into me.

So I'm on my way to getting this stroller. It is basically a must-have for my future life in the city with 3 kids. Right after I got my Peg-Perego double (thanks Mom!) I found out about the Phil and Ted double. However, I still first call it the Bill and Ted stroller every time, without fail. Dumb movie. Anyway, the Peg was a great stroller, but will not hold up on the streets of NYC. And since we will not have any cars this will be my vehicle, therefore I can justify every dollar spent on it and every accessory it comes with, well actually just the ones I think I'll need. I recently found out about this new version and I am indeed coveting. The cool thing about this model, besides its sexy design, is that both seats fully recline! How cool is that?!

So here's the deal. Todd and I like to make bets. We're betting people. So he wants a new surfboard and I want a new stroller. Both of which we know we'll get once we move to NY. But being the kind of people who love instant gratification we both want our "toys" asap. Todd and I are also vain people who don't like to carry extra poundage, of which we both are carrying currently. SO...being the vain, impatient, gambling folk we are- whomever gets to their weight goal gets their toy! The race is on. Wish me luck.

(I probably made a million grammatical errors in this post-sorry!)

You both are plenty thin. Buy the toys and forget the bet.

isn't it funny how our husbands want 'toys' for themselves (the best cable package with all the sports channels, new surfboard, new golf clubs) and we always want 'toys' that aren't even really for ourselves-just for our convenience. i say get your stroller, and something just for you to boot! and who cares about an weight goals-(not that you need it) just do it!

p.s. i had a friend living in manhattan for a while and everyone in her ward seemed to have this stroller-you'll fit right in!

I love that stroller...I too always refer to it as the bill and ted stroller, stupid name...they were just asking for it!

As someone with no car and city living experience, you definitely need this stroller and one of those attachments for the back that a kid can stand on and ride. You'll be set!

Good luck and spike Todd's food with extra butter...

Nice choice. Join the Bill and Ted stroller gang. May the best loser win. Weight-loser, that is.

I'll try not to sabotage your weight loss plans (like you need them) when you come to Carmel next week. I hope this stroller comes with a full upper body leash for whatever boy is not buckled down.

I hope Todd wins the bet and still buys you the stroller it's about time you had to walk through life like me carrying a few extra pounds.

i bought this stroller after I had number three, it is so worth the money! I have the older version though and this new one looks even better, it is so small and easy to push around it doesn't even feel like a double stroller, I have no complaints! so I hope you get your stroller, it seems hard to believe you have weight to lose! By the way, your kids are So adorable!
