Remember how I had a third kid 5 months ago? Here he is. And boy do I love him. I am really in love with this little guy. 3 kids is a doozy, but when they are as sweet as Chase it is so worth it. I can't really explain it, but he just makes me happy. His cute thumb-sucking, his contagious smile, his bright blue eyes, and those sweet little squeals just make me want to eat him right up. He is in the grab everything and put it into my mouth stage right now. He puts himself to sleep by sucking his thumb which makes it rather easy to get him down. A while ago I bragged about how he was sleeping 10 and 11 hours through the night...well, that only lasted a month and then he was a normal newborn again, which almost was worse because I got a taste of good sleep and then it was taken away again. But I think he's getting better. He gets up once during the night lately, so we'll cross our fingers. I'm not going to get cocky though because I think that jinxed me the last time. He is not quite rolling onto his tummy yet, but almost. His brothers adore him, but I keep having to remind Toby that he's still just a little guy.

It is so funny the way people react to us when I take them out. I get stopped a bagillion times for people to say one of three things or a combination- "Boy, you've got your hands full!" (for some reason that one really bugs me, I'm not sure why.) -"Wow look at all that blonde hair." - and "Oh, I know someone who had 3 boys and then she got her girl(or and then she had another boy and stopped)." And out here in Boston everyone says "God bless you," when they see you with children. Everyone. I never got that from people in California. I kind of like that because I need any help from God available with these three. Which leads me to another thought. I was asked to speak in church this coming Sunday on how I find and maintain peace in my life. I laughed out loud when I heard that. Yeah right! I'm definitely not the one to be standing up telling people how I find peace--earplugs maybe.

If you just say "earplugs" then your talk will be nice and short. Just slip in your testimony and you should be good to go.

I can totally see why the "hands full" comment would bug. And I LOVE that people say God bless you! I had no idea. Maybe these Bostonians have a soul after all...

Wish I could hear the up and coming talk! Always lots of feeling in the Ashley talks!

Chase is absolutely darling. Love the pic, love the wrapped in towel look, love the thumb in mouth, love, love, love those bright blue eyes! What a doll!

I think Randy and I will fly home early from our California vacation to hear your talk! It should be fascinating :) That sweet little Chase is pretty easy to love!
