Selling Stuff

We had our first (and hopefully our last) yard sale on Saturday. Since we will be cutting the size of our living space in half, also equally the size of Kim's closet, we needed to let a few things go. A funny thing has happened to us in the last 2 months. With the craziness of emptying John's living space and then preparing for our move we have become so afraid of "stuff." We hate it. We want nothing to do with it. I told Todd the other night that I am turning into someone I never wanted to be. Did anyone see the Oprah on Freegans? Well, I'm not to that point yet, but getting there. I do not want STUFF. I am so looking forward to moving to NYC so that I can only have what I need, plus some really awesome clothes. So if anyone wants any of my stuff come on over. Just not my clothes, except the closet full of the ones I don't wear anymore. I'm giving those away. The young women in my ward usually love when I do that.

Toby and Ben and Landon did their own selling during the yard sale. They made $12-not bad!

I'll take some clothes. Much better than having to go shopping:)

Remind me again... how is it that we are friends?

You are so funny. I think of you every time I go into my closet.

You are SO BRAVE for taking all three boys to the esplanade on the 4th. Mine would never have made it. Glad you had fun!
