Halloween in the City

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's very nostalgic for me. This year we had our first halloween in the city and it was a blast. Trick or Treating in the city was so much fun. We started the day off with a different version of the typical trunk-or-treating and did stroller-treating at Riverside Park with some of the Moms and kids in our new ward. The boys rode their scooters over to the park in their costumes and got a lot of attention from passers-by.

Todd got off early from work so he could go out with us. We started off by trick or treating some of the stores we passed and then walked to 69th street where it's closed off to traffic and everyone from the Upper West Side trick or treats. They go all out-haunted houses, live music, super heros scaling the building walls. We had a great time and the kids looked great.

Peter Pan and Cap'n Hook getting candy from the AG store near our home.

Chase made a cute "Mr. Smee"

Here's Cat Woman scaling the outside of this home. We also saw Batman and Superman. Very clever and quite the spectacle.
Ben wasn't so sure about Freddy Krueger passing out candy from this restaurant. Toby wouldn't even attempt it.
