Day 6

We took a day trip up to Ubud for some must-sees.

Starting with the elephant cave where we got hit up by some guy who wanted us to hold his snake :)

We washed our hands in some holy water

and went inside this very claustrophic cave, which legend says they dug it out with their fingernails.
Just cause I think we're hot.

We ate lunch at a restaurant that overlooks this really cool volcano. You can see where it flowed back in 1963.
They sell some pretty great crap and mob you at every opportunity.
The next stop was the Monkey Forest:
Todd did not listen to the rules and tried to pet the monkey when it climbed on his lap.
We still don't understand why Todd looks so happy when the monkey sunk his teeth into Todd's hand.
Our boys thought this was so cool that a monkey bit their dad.

This cute little baby monkey kissed Todd's cheek at one point. They didn't all hate him.
I'm bringing this little lady with me when I get mine done.

I laugh every time I look at the look on your face when you are holding the snake. What a great trip! Thanks for sharing.

Oh and I'm mad at you for holding that snake. Some things in this world should just be left untouched :)

Thank goodness that the 'snake' that guy wanted me to hold was a... python. Haha! I wanna go back to Bali right now by the way. It has been cold and even snowy here in Utah. GRRRRR and BRRRRRR.
