Welcome back to the OC

Todd and I went to see a movie last night...Inception, we really liked it. We walked outside of the theater at 10:30 at night only to see a group of teenagers hanging out waiting [for who knows what] and two of the girls had bikini bottoms on instead of, well, I guess anything else you would normally wear to the movie theater.

And I thought to myself...it's good to be back. And then I slapped Todd for looking.

Despite our sad start to life back in Southern California we are loving our life here. Too much playing and not enough organizing. We have the necessities-beach towels, heavy duty sand shovels, arm floaties for Chase and 4 different sunscreen numbers. I don't go higher than 15.

I need to start taking more pictures. After Max's death I am compelled to try and capture more moments of my children and keep these memories we're creating alive.

The first round of BYU brainwashing-which we never understood until the thought of $50,000 tuitions didn't sound so appealing. The kids' first visit to BYU-they bought it.
Uncle Harmon introducing Ben to a "swirrely."
Legoland on Max's birthday- Tate and Chase weren't too excited about sitting with the "princess."
Toby checked off the furniture as it finally made it to our new home in San Clemente.
Garbage day is always good entertainment.
A beautiful rainbow after a week of sadness brought a smile to our faces.
Beach day is every day here.
Cul de sacs and cousins make this the perfect place to live.

Papa and I are having a "too quiet" day out East. We tried to distract ourselves by weeding and mowing but it didn't work so well. Give Grammy's boys a love!

YOu and your family are still constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Jealous of your sweet house and neighborhood. PS Erin would've gotten a good slap too!:)
